<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of roller shafts which rotatably support chain moving/guiding rollers. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of circular recess portions 25b are formed in an arcuate arrangement in a pair of opposed side plates 22 of guide bases 21 provided oppositely to one side of a torque transmission timing chain 5, and shaft end portions of roller shafts 31 are supported, respectively, by the circular recess portions 25b. Rollers 41 each including a plurality of chain guiding roller bearings are rotatably supported, respectively, by the plurality of roller shafts 31. The support is achieved in a manner that the roller shafts 31 are fit to the circular recess portions 25b with a tightening margin, and the amount of the tightening margin is set such that the roller shafts 31 are slightly draw-rotatable when a radial load applied to the roller 41 reaches a preset value, and since the roller shafts 31 draw-rotate, the position undergoing the radial load is varied circumferentially.
