<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install mechanical equipment such as a propulsion unit to be installed on a start side by utilizing an existing manhole, and to reconstruct an existing pipe without constructing an arrival shaft. <P>SOLUTION: A guide pipe 18 extending from a start side manhole 10 to an arrival side manhole 12 is inserted into an existing pipe 100, and the guide pipe 18 is positioned on a schedule line to be a reference of a propulsion route. A screw 22 for discharging sediment to the arrival side manhole 12 is inserted into the guide pipe 18, a propulsion unit 16 which generates propulsion force to drive an updating pipe 120 and a guiding pipe 14 and the guiding pipe 14 incorporating a drive unit to simultaneously driving a cutter head 2 and a screw 20 are carried into the start side manhole 10, the screw 22 is connected to the guiding pipe 14, and the propulsion unit is assembled. The guiding pipe 14 and the updating pipe 120 are driven while transferring the sediment inside the guide pipe 18 and discharging it to the arrival manhole 12 by the screw 22 while breaking the existing pipe 100 by the cutter head 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
