摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of a minus side error without accompanying a rise of pressure loss on a bypass flow channel when flow rate of flow with pulsation is measured by a thermal air flow measurement device 1. <P>SOLUTION: According to an air flow measurement device 1, an outlet 9 of a bypass flow channel is opened on an outer wall of a housing 5. The outlet 9 of a bypass flow channel 4 is a series of openings in which a vertical opening 22 which is vertical to flow of intake air on an intake passage and opens toward the downstream side of the flow of the intake air, and a non-vertical opening 23 which is non-vertically provided to the flow of the intake air, are arranged adjacent with each other. Accordingly, when back flow is generated on the intake passage due to pulsation of the intake air, the back flow of the intake air is suppressed from flowing into the bypass flow channel. Thus, since amplitude of pulsation of an electric signal or a measured value is reduced, generation of a minus side error is suppressed.
