<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a communication amount for acquiring facility information of a facility at a location specified on a map from a server to display the facility information. <P>SOLUTION: A facility information display device is configured to: store map information for displaying a map on a display in a map information storage unit; display a map on the display on the basis of the map information stored in the map information storage unit; store facility area information indicating a facility area associated with facility information related to a facility on the map in the facility area information storage unit; generate location information indicating a location specified on the map; determine whether the location specified by a user on the map is within the facility area on the basis of the facility area information and the location information; control transmission of the location information to a server providing facility information on the basis of the determination result; receive facility information from the server according to the location information; store the received facility information; and display information related to a facility on the display on the basis of the facility information stored in a facility information storage unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
