<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary compressor having a compression mechanism with a plurality of compression chambers formed in a radial direction, in which insufficient oil supply to an outer compression chamber is eliminated. <P>SOLUTION: Compression mechanisms (30, 40) include: an oil passage (82) where lubricating oil is circulated; and an outer groove (84) for reserving the lubricating oil, disposed in outer compression chambers (S11, S21) except for the compression chamber in the innermost periphery. The compression mechanisms (30, 40) are configured, during a single eccentric rotational movement of pistons (32, 42), to change over between an outer groove reservation state and an outer compression chamber supply state, wherein both the states are: the outer groove reservation state in which the outer groove (84) and the oil passage (82) are communicated with each other while communication between the outer groove (84) and the outer compression chambers (S11, S21) is blocked, and thereby, the lubricating oil in the oil passage (82) is reserved in the outer groove (84); and the outer compression chamber supply state in which communication between the outer groove (84) and the oil passage (82) is blocked while the outer groove (84) and the outer compression chambers (S11, S21) are mutually communicated, and thereby the lubricating oil reserved in the outer groove (84) is supplied to the outer compression chambers (S11, S21). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
