<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation in combustion stability of a diesel engine 1, after a manual transmission 73 is shifted up. <P>SOLUTION: Before the engine 1 is completely warmed up, a fuel injection valve (an injector 18) executes main injection, in which fuel injection is started at a compression top dead center or earlier for main combustion, mainly diffusive combustion, and pre-stage injection, in which at least one fuel injection is executed earlier than the main injection so that pre-stage combustion occurs before the start of main combustion. EGR means (an exhaust gas recirculation passage 50, an exhaust gas recirculation valve 51a, and a cooler bypass valve 53a) recirculates exhaust of an EGR amount corresponding to the operation state of the engine. The EGR means maintain an EGR amount of immediately before the shift-up process, during the shift-up process of the transmission 73 including fully closing an accelerator and releasing a clutch (a clutch mechanism 72). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
