<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing glass tube having a prescribed internal shape by following bellow method or down-draw method. <P>SOLUTION: In the method and the apparatus, molten glass 6 flowing out from an outlet opening 12 of a melt channel 2 is drawn over a forming member 3, to thereby form a hollow drawn spherical part 50, and the drawn spherical part 50 is drawn over a contour forming member 4 arranged on the downstream of the forming member 3, to thereby form a prescribed internal shape. For the purpose of sure and safe arrangement to an operation position in the drawn spherical part 50, the contour forming member 4 is moved in the axial direction from below the forming member 3 through the internal space of a glass tube 5;5' until reaching the operation position in the internal space of the glass tube 5;5', or moved in the axial direction through the internal hole 31 of a shaft 30 for supporting the forming member 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
