<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic compressor which is capable of enhancing reliability and energy efficiency by reducing piston side pressure. <P>SOLUTION: In a hermetic compressor, a compression element and a motor-driven element are accommodated in a hermetic container, and an eccentric part provided in a crankshaft driven by the motor-driven element and a piston are connected by a conn-rod. The hermetic compressor includes: a bearing part which journals the crankshaft; an inner spherical surface provided in the piston; a compression chamber which is provided integrally with a frame and in which the piston reciprocates; and a spherical part of the conn-rod which is wrapped and held by the inner spherical surface and connected with the piston by a ball joint mechanism. The spherical part is disposed in such a manner that the center of gravity of the spherical part is positioned at an anti-rotation direction side rather than a centerline of the compression chamber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
