<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ionic migration type electrochemical element that performs on-off operations in a reverse polarity to a conventional electrochemical element, and to provide a complementary circuit with low power consumption by combining the electrochemical element with a conventional type of electrochemical element. <P>SOLUTION: A gate electrode is disposed on one side, sandwiching tantalum oxide used as an ion diffusion material, and on the other side, a source electrode and a drain electrode isolated by insulator materials are disposed. Thus, an electrochemical element is provided with a lower gate voltage (on voltage) achieving an electrical connection between the source electrode and the drain electrode, than a gate voltage (off voltage) achieving an off state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
