<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a density variation due to a mechanical vibration caused by external disturbance during scanning. <P>SOLUTION: This inkjet recorder includes a carriage 2 with a recording head 1 for ejecting ink thereon and a motor 7 adapted to drive the carriage in a scanning direction, and performs recording by scanning by a carriage 2 in one recording area on a recording medium. The inkjet recorder further includes an information output section 56 which detects a frequency of scanning by the carriage 2 in the one recording area and outputs information indicative of a detected frequency of scanning, a cycle signal generation section 57 which generates a cycle signal and modulates a generated cycle signal in accordance with the frequency of scanning by the carriage 2 indicated by a scanning frequency signal so as to output the cycle signal, and a drive circuit 45 which causes a motor 7 to drive the carriage 2 on the basis of a signal which is obtained by synthesizing the cycle signal output from the cycle signal generation section 57 with a control signal for controlling the driving of the carriage 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
