<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a low alloy steel, by which when a bloom of a CrMo low alloy steel containing high carbon is produced by applying blooming to a continuously cast slab, the crack generated in the center part of the bloom is prevented and the bloom having good inner quality can be produced. <P>SOLUTION: A cast metal containing by mass 0.3-0.7% C, 0.05-0.6% Si, 0.20-2.0% Mn, ≤0.05% P, ≤0.02% S, 0.003-0.10% Al, ≤5.0% Cr, 0.3-2.0% Mo, 0.005-0.05% Nb, ≤0.03% Ti, 0.05-0.3% V, 0.003-0.010% N and the balance Fe with impurities and having ≥200 mm thickness is continuously cast, then the cast metal is heated and is kept at 1,250-1,350°C for at least one hour or more using a heating furnace before applying the blooming to the cast metal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
