<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission system capable of reducing route calculation loads between communication devices connected to a transmitter and constructing a transmission network excellent in extendability. <P>SOLUTION: The transmission system comprises: a plurality of transmitters 20-1 to 20-4 which are components of a transmission network 22; a plurality of routers 11-1 to 11-4 for performing communication through the transmission network 22; a transmission network route management server 4 for setting a communication route between the plurality of transmitters; a transmission network communication route DB 5 for storing the set communication route; and a virtual router control server 24. The router, when connected to the transmitter, transmits control data through the connected transmitter to the virtual router control server 24. The virtual router control server 24 acquires information on connection relation between a newly connected router and the transmitter from the control data, and establishes the communication route between the routers on the basis of the acquired information and the information on the communication route between the transmitters, that is stored in the transmission network communication route DB 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
