<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an exhausting property of a cover of a square secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: A cover 20 mounted to a square secondary battery cell 10 is a frame body constituted by a bottom plate 21, right and left side plates 22, 23, and an upper plate 24. Projection parts 22b, 23b, 24c are provided on the side plates 22, 23 and the upper plate 24 at ends in a thickness direction. Also, a notch part 24a not interfering with a positive electrode terminal 14 and a negative electrode terminal 15 of the square secondary battery cell 10 is provided on the upper plate 24. Gas emitted from an exhaust valve 16 passes through a communication path surrounded by the side plates 22, 23, the projection parts 22b, 23b and side faces of the square secondary battery cell 10 via a communication path surrounded by the upper plate 24, the projection part 24b and an upper face of the square secondary battery cell 10, and are exhausted from holes 22a, 23a of the side plates 22, 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
