<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive support system capable of allowing a driver to have a feeling of having a fellow passenger so as to be nervous and relaxed in a balanced manner, and especially showing a high effect to reduce the traffic accident of an aged driver. <P>SOLUTION: A drive support system includes: voice recognition means for recognizing the voice of a driver; voice output means for outputting voice to the driver; voice data storage means for storing voice data to be the voice to be output from the voice output means; and voice control means for reading appropriate voice data from the voice data stored in the voice data storage means in accordance with voice recognized by the voice recognition means, and allowing the voice output means to perform a voice output.
