<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a node detection device that detects nodes existing on a network. <P>SOLUTION: A node detection device 10 collects nodes registered in a DNS server 8 as a candidate node, and confirms a node existing on a network by confirming whether or not the candidate nodes are operated. This facilitates detection of the node on the network. The node detection device 10 can also detect even nodes in IPv4 environment and nodes in IPv6 environment at high speed by regarding both an AAAA record and an A record as an object, thereby reducing network load than the case of detecting nodes with respect to all IP addresses. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
