<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optic device and electronic equipment having high transmittance for light transmitting through a pixel and capable of effectively using light emitting from a light source. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal device as an embodiment of the electro-optic device includes: an element substrate as a first substrate having a plurality of pixel electrodes; and a counter substrate 20 as a second substrate having a first light-transmitting conducting layer 23a, a second light-transmitting conducting layer 23c disposed in a first region E1 of the first light-transmitting conducting layer 23a, opposing to the plurality of pixel electrodes, and a first insulating film 23b disposed between the first light-transmitting conducting layer 23a and the second light-transmitting conducting layer 23c. Each film thickness of the first light-transmitting conducting layer 23a, the first insulating film 23b and the second light-transmitting conducting layer 23c is set in such a manner that the spectral distribution of light transmitting through the first region E1 of the counter substrate 20 is approximately flat in a wavelength range of visible light. The first light-transmitting conducting layer 23a is disposed in a second region E2 of the counter substrate 20 where a sealing material 40 for adhering the element substrate and the counter substrate 20 is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
