<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover substantially more energy from fuel by oxidizing the fuel efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: An energy recovery apparatus oxidizes fuel by adding oxygen into a mixed fluid containing the fuel and a solvent. The energy recovery apparatus recovers heat energy from the mixed fluid with the fuel oxidized. The energy recovery apparatus has a mixed fluid discharge part 22, a heating part 24, an oxygen addition part 26, and an energy recovery part 32. The mixed fluid discharge part 22 discharges the mixed fluid continuously at a pressure of at least a solubilization pressure. The heating part 24 heats the mixed fluid in turn at a temperature of at least a solubilization temperature. The oxygen addition part 26 adds oxygen continuously to the mixed fluid. The energy recovery part 32 recovers heat energy in turn from the mixed fluid to which oxygen is added and in which the fuel is oxidized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
