<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismoscope that is little dependent on horizontality, can operate semi-permanently, requires no complex signal processing, is inexpensive and consumes little electric power. <P>SOLUTION: A seismoscope comprises a spherical vessel, liquid filling the vessel leaving an air space in part of the vessel, and a high-sensitivity pressure-sensitive element arranged in the vessel in a state of being soaked in the liquid, and detects, when subjected to a tremor, variations in the pressure caused to work on the high-sensitivity pressure-sensitive element by the fluidization of the liquid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
