A system for searching patent information is provided to enable a searcher to contact with a needed expert of each search field by searching the patent information and the information for the expert such as a patent attorney, matching a search result with the expert information, and providing the matched information to the searcher. A database(130) stores the patent information. An expert database(120) stores a keyword and the expert information corresponding to a patent classification code of the keyword. A search part(110) searches the patent information and the expert information corresponding to the keyword. A page generator merges the searched patent and expert information, and provides the merged information to a client providing the keyword. The search part includes a lookup table(112) storing an index file classifying the patent information, and a search engine(113) extracting the patent/expert information corresponding to the keyword from the databases by referring to the lookup table and providing the extracted information to the client. |
