<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas barrier film laminate, which has both high steam barrier properties and ultraviolet screening properties, and in which optical property is not decreased, and to provide an electronic component including the gas barrier film. <P>SOLUTION: The gas barrier film laminate is formed by laminating at least two gas barrier films while an adhesive layer is interposed therebetween. At least one of the gas barrier films has a base material made of a transparent plastic film and at least one gas barrier layer provided on the base material, and the adhesive layer is a layer made of an adhesive composition containing a rubber-based adhesive and a benzotriazole-based ultraviolet absorbing agent.
