<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately control the output of a sound from an output device which outputs at least sound. <P>SOLUTION: On the basis of a taken image of the periphery of the output device which outputs at least sound and an environmental sound in the periphery of the output device, a controller analyzes the situation of the periphery of the output device. Then, in accordance with the situation of the periphery of the output device, the controller controls the output of the sound from the output device, such as adjusting the sound volume of the speaker, adjusting the gain of the sound outputted from the speaker.
