摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for attaining optimal operation in high safety and operation density, and energy-saving, on a train control system. <P>SOLUTION: An on-board device 20 of a train is constituted of an on-board clock 22 for specifying track information, transmission time information and the information received time from a GPS satellite 10a, a train existing line range calculating part 23 for calculating a train existing line range by the received information and the received time, an on-board communication part 24 for transmitting train existing line range information to a ground device 30 and receiving stopping target information from the ground device 30, and a speed control part 25 for controlling a traveling speed of its own train based on the stopping target information.
