<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel magnetic material for improving the permeability furthermore, and to provide a coil component using such a magnetic material. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic material consists of a particle molding 1 obtained by molding metallic particles 11 and then performing heat-treating under an oxidative atmosphere. The metallic particles 11 consists of an Fe-Cr-Si-based alloy, and the sum Fe<SB POS="POST">Oxide</SB>of integration value of peaks 709.6 eV, 710.7 eV and 710.9 eV by XPS of the metal particles before molding, and the Fe<SB POS="POST">Metal</SB>/(Fe<SB POS="POST">Metal</SB>+Fe<SB POS="POST">Oxide</SB>) for the integration value Fe<SB POS="POST">Metal</SB>of a peak 706.9 eV are 0.2 or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
