<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter which can functionalize various types of optical systems appropriately for a lens interchangeable type camera system. <P>SOLUTION: A camera body comprises: a connection part to connect a first interchangeable lens via an adapter which is attachably/detachably fixed respectively to the camera body and the first interchangeable lens, or to connect a second interchangeable lens; and a focusing determination unit to determine autofocus focusing according to a focusing criterion which is different whether the second interchangeable lens is connected to the connection part without the adapter or the first interchangeable lens is connected to the connection part via the adapter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
