<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyol composition for production of polyurethane foam, from which polyurethane foam having high mechanical properties and flame retardancy can be produced. <P>SOLUTION: The polyol composition for the production of polyurethane foam contains a strength improving agent (A) expressed by general formula (I) and the following polyol (P). In the formula, R1 represents a residue of an active hydrogen-containing compound from which one active hydrogen is excluded; Y represents a residue of an aromatic polycarboxyclic acid having a valence of 3 or more, from which a carboxyl group is excluded; Z represents a residue of an active hydrogen-containing compound having a valence of m or more, from which m of active hydrogen are excluded; and m represents an integer of 1 to 10.
