<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of extending a dynamic range of AD conversion. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging device includes: first pixels each for generating a signal by photo-electric conversion; second pixels arranged in the same row as the first pixels, each for generating a signal by photo-electric conversion; first comparators each for comparing a signal (SIG) based on the first pixel with a first reference signal (RAMP_A) having a level changing with respect to a time; second comparators each for comparing a signal (SIG) based on the second pixel with a second reference signal (RAMP_B) different in a change rate with respect to a time from the first reference signal; first counters each for counting until the first comparator outputs a signal indicating that the magnitude relation between the signal based on the first pixel and the first reference signal is reversed; and second counters each for counting until the second comparator outputs a signal indicating that the magnitude relation between the signal based on the second pixel and the second reference signal is reversed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
