<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement pump suppressing adverse effect by cavitation as much as possible even during high speed rotation. <P>SOLUTION: An introduction passage 40 allowing the oil pressure inside a control oil chamber 30 to be introduced to a pump chamber PR<SB POS="POST">X</SB>is constituted by arranging an introduction groove 41 that is a linear narrow groove diagonally extending from the control oil chamber 30 side toward the side of an intake port 21 on a first land section L1 with an inner end 41b thereof opening to the pump chamber PR<SB POS="POST">X</SB>enclosed on the first land section L1, and by opening and closing an outer end 41a of the introduction groove 41 by an end surface in the axial direction of a cam ring 15. Thus, when the cavitation occurs, bubbles generated inside the pump chamber PR<SB POS="POST">X</SB>can be gradually eliminated by the oil pressure inside the control oil chamber 30. As a result, the adverse effect such as the noise and the like by the cavitation can be suppressed as much as possible even during high speed rotation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
