<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the damage of articles with regards to a width aligning device for width-aligning a plurality of the articles to be conveyed aligned in the width direction. <P>SOLUTION: A width aligning device 10 has a carrying path 11 for a processed cheese XA1, a pushing member 13 that pushes the processed cheese XA1 in a carrying direction of the carrying path 11, and a pushing unit 15 that pushes the processed cheese XA1 from one side to the other side of a width direction of the carrying path 11 by a pushing member 14. The carrying path 11 has a carrying face 18 where a plurality of the processed cheeses XA1 are aligned in the width direction.
