<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that suppresses the occurrence of peeling-off of a cleaning blade or streak noise on the surface of an image carrier immediately after the set-up, so as to provide excellent images from immediately after the set-up. <P>SOLUTION: A color printer 100 sequentially executes an external additive adhesion step of preferentially moving an external additive such as silica to photoreceptor drums 1a to 1d sides, while maintaining toner base particles on a developing roller 29 in developing devices 3a to 3d as much as possible, to allow the external additive to be adhered to the edge portion of a cleaning blade 31; and a toner discharging step of moving toner remained on the developing roller 29 to the photoreceptor drums 1a to 1d sides. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
