<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device in which a fixing belt retains durability and always smoothly rotates; and an image forming device equipped with the fixing device. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing device 5 includes: an endless fixing belt 26 rotatably supported; and a pressurizing roller 19 rotation-driving while being press-contacted on an outer peripheral surface of the fixing belt 26 to submissively rotate the fixing belt 26. The fixing belt 26 is provided with a first magnetization portion in which N poles and S poles are alternately magnetized in a rotating direction. The fixing belt 26 is further provided with a second magnetization portion which is oppositely disposed to the first magnetization portion in a nip portion N, and in which N poles and S poles are alternately magnetized.
