<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device which is free from restraint conditions that a photographing posture be taken, and also can perform operations to browse wanted ambient information. <P>SOLUTION: A portable communication device comprises: a communication unit 12 which performs radio communication with the outside; a display unit 18; an elevation angle detection unit 21 which detects the elevation angle of the display unit 18; an azimuth information acquisition unit 11 which acquires azimuth information on the azimuth concerned with an elevation direction; a position information acquisition unit 10 which acquires position information on latitude and longitude; a position and azimuth determination unit 15 which determines the position information and the azimuth information; a position and azimuth recording unit 20 which records the position information and the azimuth information determined by the position and azimuth determination unit 15; and a position and azimuth information search unit 19 which can search via a communication unit 12 for information related to the position information and azimuth information.
