PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture processing apparatus, a picture processing program, and a picture processing method capable of more suitably combining the image of a finish and the image of a picture in accordance with an input picture and displaying thereof.

SOLUTION: The picture processing apparatus is configured to divide a medium having an input picture printed thereon into plural sections. The picture processing apparatus comprises display means for performing preview display for printing out and discrimination means for discriminating regions each including a picture and regions each including no picture from each other with respect to the input picture. With respect to a region including no picture, the display means preferentially displays the image of the finish. With respect to a region including a picture, the display means preferentially displays the image of the picture.
