<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction of inspection accuracy even when performing image inspection of a printed matter that is printed using a transparent color. <P>SOLUTION: An image inspection apparatus comprises a capturing section 211 which captures colored image data which are image data of a chromatic color material, a master image data generation section 213 which generates master image data by converting the chromatic image data on the basis of transparent image data which are image data of a transparent color material, and an image inspection section 217 which inspects inspection image data generated by optically reading a print image based on the chromatic image data and the transparent image data from printed matter with which the print image is printed while using the master image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
