<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article conveying device capable of simplifying a control condition so as to execute control even by a low-cost simple control means. <P>SOLUTION: The article conveying device includes: a rail 51 where a plurality of traversers 4a, 4b and 4c travel in one line; a rail 52 arranged side by side therewith, where a plurality of traversers 4d, 4e and 4f travel in one line; and a truck PLC 24 for controlling movement in the respective rails of the traversers 4a-4f. For the traversers 4a, 4b and 4c of the rail 51, the traversers 4d, 4e and 4f of the rail 52 to perform inter-truck transfer are determined, respectively. The truck PLC 24 controls movement turning the traversers 4a and 4c adjacent to the traverser 4b and the traversers 4d and 4f adjacent to the traverser 4e to an immovable range for an overlap area Y where the traversers 4b and 4e can be in parallel with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
