<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a parameter setting device which enables a user to easily perform operations for verifying parameter settings. <P>SOLUTION: A monitoring camera 200 is communicatively interconnected with a parameter setting device 100 via a communication cable 300. A parameter information storage unit 2 stores parameter information to be set in the monitoring camera 200. A parameter comparison unit 3 compares parameter information set in the monitoring camera 200 that is acquired via an interface unit 1, and parameter information stored in the parameter information storage unit 2. A display unit 5 displays the comparison result.
