<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for effectively utilizing a flash interface. <P>SOLUTION: A device includes a first circuit 206, a second circuit 204, and a third circuit 208. The first circuit is configured so as to hold information based on a die to be used to operate a flash controller (FLC). The second circuit is configured so as to manage contexts actively processed by the flash controller (FLC).
