PURPOSE: A device for detecting a slab surface is provided to detect a slab surface in which a scarfing is proceeded while minimizing the movement of a camera. CONSTITUTION: A device for detecting a slab surface comprises a light source, a reflecting unit(130), a camera(120), an image processing unit(160). The light source irradiates lights on a slab surface. The reflecting unit reflects the lights reflected in the slab surface again. The camera photographs the slab surface by using the lights reflected in the reflection unit. The image processing unit detects defects of a slab from the images of the slab photographed by the camera. |
