<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal fan that can more suitably flow air. <P>SOLUTION: The centrifugal fan includes: an upper casing 5A in which an air inlet 8 is formed; a lower casing 6; and an impeller 3 positioned between the upper casing 5A and the lower casing 6. The impeller 3 includes: an upper shroud 23 positioned at the upper casing 5A side; and a plurality of impellers 2 provided below the upper shroud 23 and arranged on the circumference, and can rotate around a rotation axis 11. The upper casing 5A and the lower casing 6 comprise an open type casing. A surface facing to the upper casing 5A of the upper shroud 23 has a first part near the lower casing 6 as it separates from the rotation axis 11. A surface facing the upper shroud 23 of the upper casing 5A has a shape approaching the lower casing 6 as separating from the rotation axis 11 in a second part facing to the first part of the upper shroud 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
