<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remotely maintain a hot forging press without laying a new communication infrastructure facility in a factory and while securing information security. <P>SOLUTION: The hot forging press (10) includes: a press body (12); a programmable logic controller (14) for holding the operation pattern program of the press body and sequentially controlling the press body according to the program; and a radio communication device (16) for connecting the programmable logic controller to a network through a public radio communication line.
