摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earth station device and an earth station device control method of a satellite communication system that can improve a communication performance by a simple configuration and control method making it unnecessary to comprise a number of phase variation detection means, which number accords to the number of transmitters, and a number of phase difference and S/N detection means, which number accords to the number of receivers in the prior art. <P>SOLUTION: Amplitude and phase setting means of a reception system is configured to individually measure noise power of a plurality of receiving means in advance, adjust amplitude of a reception signal by means of weight that makes the noise power constant, determine a phase amount which makes the reception power output by power detection means maximum for every phase-shifter sequentially by changing a phase amount relative to each phase-shifter, and compensate the phase of the reception signal by use of the determined phase amount.
