<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve game properties by changing reel control. <P>SOLUTION: In the slot machine 1, if a first lottery result is obtained where a first winning combination (a bell combination) and a second winning combination (a cherry combination) are simultaneously won while a special winning combination is not won, symbols (bells) corresponding to the first winning combination are stopped/displayed on an effective line. If the first lottery result is obtained while the special winning combination is won, symbols (cherries) corresponding to the second winning combination are preferentially stopped/displayed on the effective line in preference to the symbols (bells) corresponding to the first winning combination.
