<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability and suppress power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: A ring RG1 rotates striding over an angle range AR1 and an angle range AR2 lined up in a direction in which an angle is increased. When the rotation angle of the ring RG1 increases to an angle θon that belongs to the angle range AR1, a main power supply is activated by a sub CPU. When the rotation angle of the ring RG1 is changed in the angle range AR2, the position of a zoom lens 12 is changed accompanied thereby. A main CPU refers to the position of the zoom lens 12 that has been changed in such a manner and adjusts the arrangement of a focus lens 16. When a period during which the rotation angle of the ring RG1 remains within the angle range AR1, with the main power supply actuated, exceeds a threshold THon or THoff, the main CPU displays an activating-operation guide screen or an ending-operation guide screen on an LCD monitor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
