<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the usability of a cord lock without spoiling the functions. <P>SOLUTION: The cord lock includes a female utensil F and a male utensil M which is assembled with the female utensil F in such a manner that it is made operable by being pushed into the female utensil F against an urging force. On the side section 3 of the female utensil F, a first through hole 1 for a string-like body W is installed at each of confronted positions under a penetrated state. At the same time, a second through hole 2 for the string-like body W is installed between the pair of first through holes 1, 1 under a penetrated state. On the male utensil M, a first passing section 9 and a second passing section 10 are formed at specified push-in positions against the urging force of the male utensil M. In this case, the first passing section 9 allows the string-like body W to be passed through the first through hole 1 without resistance or with a little resistance by communication therewith.
