<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper cutter which is easier and safer to use in opening an envelope, clipping a newspaper article, or cutting out a record of personal information from a document in the envelope. <P>SOLUTION: A thin-panel cutter body having a blade part on a side edge is supported by a cutter frame provided with a grip, a guide corner horizontally protruding in the same direction as the blade part is provided at a lower end of the cutter body, an angle made by the guide corner and the blade part of the cutter body is an obtuse angle of at least 90 degrees or larger, and a cover facing a tip end of the guide corner is turnably attached to the cutter frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
