COPOLYMER MODIFIED LIGNIN DERIVED FROM BYPRODUCT OF PAPER PROCESSING PROCESS AND CONCRETE ADDITIVES COMPRISING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of lignin modified by a copolymer is provided to obtain the lignin from a by-product of a paper-making process through a simple process without using a large amount of acidic solution. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a lignin modified by a copolymer comprises: a step of removing organic salts from a by-product of a paper-making process containing lignin; and a step of putting a co-monomer into the result, adding a polymerizing initiator, conducting a copolymerization, and separating the copolymer-modified lignin by filtering the result. The by-product comprises 50-650g of lignin based on 1kg of dry weight. The removal of the organic slats is conducted by electric decomposition and/or chemical decomposition.
