PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition of an oil drop-in-water type is provided to stably maintain the shape of microparticles without phase separation and to ensure excellent applicability. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition is an oil drop-in-water type and has a form of a microparticle containing an aqueous medium and water soluble polymers as an aqueous phase, and fatty acid, oil, and silicon-based elastomer as an oil phase. The content of the oil is 3-15 wt%. The side of the microparticle is 100-3000 um. The silicon-based elastomer is a dimethicone crosspolymer. The content ratio of fatty acid and oil is 2:3-2:13.
