<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dongle device which can impart a function for generating audio data from performance information such as Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) data to an electrical product. <P>SOLUTION: A dongle device comprises: a terminal (105) for electrically connecting with an electrical product; a communication unit (101) for receiving performance information from a terminal device; and an audio source (102) for generating audio data on the basis of the performance information to output the audio data to the electrical product via the terminal.
