PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of reducing power consumption while suppressing deterioration in image quality.

SOLUTION: A display device comprises: a frame-rate conversion section (a frame-rate conversion section 30 and an image-signal processing section 23) that is configured so that a frame-rate conversion ratio can be changed in a setting range of 1 or more, and converts a frame rate of a video signal in accordance with a set frame-rate conversion ratio; and a display section (a liquid crystal display panel 40) that displays video subjected to frame rate conversion.
