<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing having a long life in rolling fatigue life even if it is used under conditions wherein a large load is to be applied, and having excellent acoustic performance. <P>SOLUTION: A rolling body 3 of a cylindrical rolling bearing 10 is structured of a high carbon steel including carbon at 0.8-1.2 mass%. The hardness thereof is set at Hv700-Hv920 over the whole from the surface to a core part. An inner ring 1 and an outer ring 2 are structured of a steel for case hardening including carbon at 0.14-0.45 mass%. A surface including raceways 1a and 2a includes a hardening layer to be hardened by carburizing processing or carburizing and nitriding processing, and the hardness of the hardening layer is set at Hv650-Hv850, and the hardness of the core part inside the hardening layer is set at Hv300-Hv550. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
