STEREOSCOPIC IMAGE PICKUP DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve image capturing in a narrow IAD and downsizing of a stereoscopic image pickup device.

SOLUTION: A stereoscopic image pickup device comprises: an objective optical system 10 that takes in a light beam emitted from a subject and guides it to a subsequent stage; and a division optical system 20 that reflects one part of the light beam guided by the objective optical system 10 and transmits the other part. A first imaging optical system 30R is arranged on a route of the reflected light reflected by the division optical system 20 and forms the reflected light as a parallax image. A second imaging optical system 30L is arranged on a route of the transmitted light transmitted through the division optical system 20 and forms the transmitted light as a parallax image. A first imaging device 302R converts the parallax image formed by the first imaging optical system into an image signal. A second imaging device 302L converts the parallax image formed by the second imaging optical system into an image signal.
